President Terryl Allen called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. A total of _34_ people were in attendance.
Concerns of Members:
Janet Jarrett is home and doing better.

Secretary’s Report (Lynn Martin):
Vice President’s Report (Denise Caravona):
July: Jacquelyn McGrail will do a “cleaning and oiling” sewing machines, noncomputerized. She will be sending out a list of supplies needed for the demo. August: Fair report and Demo round table
Hug Quilts Report (Lynnette LeGette):

We will have a Sit & Sew on July 9, 2018 @Ascension Lutheran Church; 13725 Shelbyville Rd. Louisville Ky. Times are 10-4 and please bring extension cords if you have them.
Old Business
Deadline for fair entries is next Monday July 2, 2018
New Business
Next month we will start the membership registration and the sign-ups for the retreat. We will be demonstrating a Laura Heine quilt project at retreat, if you are interested please see Lynn Martin.
Other Business
State Fair is soon, so get your quilts ready.
Member Business Opportunities: we encourage all businesses within our membership community, please bring these to the meetings for more exposure for your businesses.

Secretary’s Report (Lynn Martin):
- Minutes for the May Cover Lovers meeting were distributed via e-mail May 31, 2018 and were mailed to non-email members with this month’s meeting reminder on May 31, 2018.
Vice President’s Report (Denise Caravona):
July: Jacquelyn McGrail will do a “cleaning and oiling” sewing machines, noncomputerized. She will be sending out a list of supplies needed for the demo. August: Fair report and Demo round table
Hug Quilts Report (Lynnette LeGette):
- A total of 4 hug quilts were turned in to Hosparus the month of June.
- Reminder: The size of hug quilts should average 40” x 60”. Quilt tops turned in to Joyce Hameloth or Linda Sanford for quilting should have a backing 8” wider and 8” longer than the top and pieced together. The binding committee requests that the binding be cut 2 ½” wide and pieced.
