We had an explosion of hug quilts turned in this month! Many of them were ones quilted at Quilted Joy last month, and it was a joy to see them all.

January 2020

Only one quilt was turned in this month. However, towards the end of last year the group decided to have a quilting day at Quilted Joy, a local long-arm rental and quilt shop. Thirty-one quilts were turned in for that event at the beginning of January, and the week before the meeting several members gathered at the shop and learned how to quilt with a long-arm! Fortunately, a couple of those attending are experienced long-armers, so that made the process go more quickly. Twenty-three of the quilts were quilted that day, and we look forward to seeing them as they get turned in after binding!
