Picture
Darlene Harrington of the Shelby County Extension Homemakers was our special guest in February.  Darlene stopped in to remind us we are all invited to participate in the many activities provided by the Homemakers.  The Spring Fashion Show will be March 22 and they are always looking for models.  There is an active Sewing Circle which meets monthly -- next meeting is April 3rd.  And the Annual State Homemakers meeting will be from May 7-9 in Louisville.

Trader's Dice Game
Denise introduced us to Trader's Dice this month.  The game involved 25 Spring-time five-inch squares and dice.  There were 5 round tables of ladies rolling dice, trading, and selecting from the center.  Nothing more fun than swapping fabrics.  Denise awarded the winners with prizes.  Of course, the winners were the ladies with the MOST fabric.  We all know that is how the game is played.  Unfortunately, the photographer was too busy rolling dice to take any pictures.  Maybe next time......
