2018 Project of the Month Rules
1) Make a list of 8 projects you want to complete, in the order you want to complete them. The list is due at the January Guild Meeting. (Example: 'Piece a Log Cabin twin bed size quilt in batik fabrics'). The projects can be UFOs,or new projects, or a combination. The projects should be substantial (something that takes at least 10 hours to complete, as a basic guideline)
2) Bring your completed project to the meeting for show-and-tell (or email a photo to me). The first project is due at the February meeting.
3) You may change the order of the projects, just inform me at the meeting so I can check off the correct item on your list.
4) You may swap out a listed project for a new project, again, just inform me so I can keep the lists straight.
5) You are encouraged to include Hug Quilts in your project list (we have been running behind our monthly goal for some time, so we would like to increase the number of Hug Quilts made and donated!).
6) You may use 2 'Mulligans.' The way this works is that if you don't complete your project one month, you may show the incomplete project at the meeting, then show both that project (completed) AND the next due project at the next meeting. This is like getting an 'incomplete' grade, then having it become a 'pass' when you turn in the project.
7) At the end of the 8 months, those who completed 8 projects will enter a drawing for a prize. Those who completed 4 to 7 projects will enter a drawing for a lesser prize.
8) Every member of the Club will have completed projects they might otherwise not have, so that's a win for everyone!
